Denmaur To Become A Carbon-Balance Company

Denmaur a paper merchant company is taking steps in association with CarbonCo to become a carbon-balance company.

CarbonCo is working with World Land Trust (WLT) to make this world carbon-free. Under this scheme all of Denmaur’s carbon emissions will be calculated and strategies are devised to protect habitats which are suffering. CarbonCo promotes carbon balance print procedures, carbon balanced papers, logos for carbon balanced print and end users WLT carbon certificates.

Peter Sommerville, the marketing director of Denmaur expressed “This is probably something we were considering for a while. We can carbon balance any product we sell so we thought if we are promoting the service it is slightly disingenuous if we are not seeking to do the same thing with our business.

“Danny Doogan (Denmaur group sustainability manager) looked into it and I was happy to endorse it and submit it to the board for a decision.

“I think it will be commonplace soon and most companies will end up taking this sort of action.”

Denmaur To Become A Carbon-Balance Company

It has been a great progress to make this world carbon-free. In the manufacturing of papers and papers related stuff, there is a huge cutting down of trees. CarbonCo is promoting those products and materials which could cause lesser cutting-down of trees.

Denmaur is procuring 12 energy-efficient Scania trucks in order to further minimize its carbon emissions. Such carbon emissions are very dangerous for  natural environment and effects human life, animal life and wild life badly.

There have been considerable steps taken by World Land Trust and CarbonCo on the awareness of carbon emissions. More of the companies are attracted towards this concept. It has been a good notion that paper manufacturing companies are adopting solutions which are more environment-friendly. More awareness programs would help brining more understanding in companies and people about hazardous carbon emissions.
